Poetry Competition's winning micropoems featured in exhibition at the Geological Society

The winners of the 2021 Micropoetry Competition are being presented in the 'Spacescapes' exhibition at the Geological Society of London.

This year's Micropoetry competition was themed around the 2021 'Year of Space', and presented by Creative Manchester in collaboration with the Geological Society of London and the Centre for New Writing. Entrants were asked to write a poem in response to the theme of ‘Space’, in no more than 280 characters.

The winning poems from the competition are now being displayed at the Spacescapes exhibition in London. This is a free, outdoor exhibition presented by the Geological Society of London, taking place between 20 August and 8 October. The exhibition is open every day from 9am to 6pm.

You can read more about the exhibition on the Geological Society's website
