Research explores experience of non-religious identities in England and Wales
New research has revealed the experiences of people who identify themselves as non-religious and the impact of the equalities legal framework.
Non-religious people reported experiences of unfair treatment and discrimination due to their identities.
The research was published in the Journal of Contemporary Religion by three academics including the University's Kingsley Purdam.
