Survey for providers of remote physiotherapy services

Survey respondents are required for a new project from those who lead or are responsible for a remote physiotherapy service in any sector.

The project is being led by University academics Dr Helen Hawley-Hague and Dr Sarah Tyson

Dr Helen Hawley-Hague is a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Research Fellow within the School of Health Sciences at the UoM, MICRA affiliate and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy’s Digital and Informatics Physiotherapy Group. Dr Sarah Tyson is a Professor and physiotherapist at UoM and a Fellow of the CSP.

The project aims to evaluate the impact of remote physiotherapy delivery for a wide range of patients and settings. The project will also capture learning about new remote rehabilitation models and ways of working alongside the evidence for digital rehabilitation before COVID-19.

The project researchers need as many services as possible to complete an online survey in order to build a comprehensive picture of remote physiotherapy delivery across the UK.

If you lead or are responsible for a remote physiotherapy service in any sector, take part in the online survey which is open from 26 August to 16 September 2020.

You can access the survey and more information about the project here.
