The Centre for New Writing and Manchester Literature Festival reveal exciting series of live events for 2021

The Manchester Literature Festival returns this year for a spectacular series of in-person and online events, showcasing and celebrating some of the best in contemporary writing from around the world.

This year, the Manchester Literature Festival will run from Saturday 9 October to Sunday 17 October, with a number of bookend events either side of this date range. With headline names including Bernadine Evaristo, Elif Shafak, and University Chancellor and poet, Lemn Sissay, the fantastic programme will feature intimate conversations, talks from authors, poets and activists, new commissions and family-friendly activities.

The Centre for New Writing and Creative Manchester are delighted to once again be partnering with the Manchester Literature Festival this October, with an exciting selection of partnership events, including:
