UKRI: New Open Access policy for long-form outputs
The University’s largest research funder, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is introducing a new Open Access policy for long-form outputs (monographs, chapters and edited collections) from 1 January 2024.
As a signatory of Plan S, UKRI is committed to enabling more open and equitable academic publishing. The funder's latest policy, targeting long-form publications, is intended to accelerate the transition to Open Access.
