SCI Seminar on water security, peace, and sustainability

Join us for an online discussion on "Water Security, Peace, and Sustainability" with SCI PhD student Chantal V. Bright on 2nd November from 2pm-3.30pm (BST).

Water-related risks undermine human development and can contribute to migration and displacement, food insecurity, political instability, and conflict. The objective of the event is to share research which intersects with water, peace, security, and sustainability.

Expect to hear from panelists with varied research backgrounds across the University of Manchester. Panelists will discuss their research from different perspectives, with a focus on links between water-related challenges, conflict risks, and or the role of water as an instrument for peace and sustainability. The audience will be asked to engage in discussion following short presentations.
