Role: Senior Language Tutor

After a Licence in English and American Studies from the Université de Nancy II (France), a Maîtrise and DEA in the same subject specialising in medieval studies, I obtained a PhD in Medieval Studies at the University of Manchester in 2003.
I have been teaching in the French Department at the University of Manchester since 1994 and have also been an associate lecturer for the Open University since 2003.
I hold a diploma in Interpreting (DPSI) from the Institute of Linguists, for which I am an examiner. I was nominated an EBL fellow by CEEBL (Centre for Excellence in Enquiry Based Learning) in 2009-10 to promote and support Enquiry Based Learning across the HE curriculum.
I am an external examiner for Sheffield Hallam Business School.
