Dr Daniel Hampson - personal details
Role: Lecturer in Marketing
Daniel joined the academic staff at Manchester Business School in September 2011 after having previously worked at the school as a PhD and MSc student. Before moving into education Daniel had gained several years of marketing experience, including a position as business analyst at Bombardier Transportation. Daniel’s published research explores consumer behavior during times of economic recession. Having completed his PhD in 2013 at Manchester Business School, Daniel is currently working on projects in the area of economic psychology and consumer behaviour in retail, including studies on consumer confidence indices, consumer financial distress, and shopper disloyalty.
