I am an Honorary Lecturer in Animal Evolution and a member of the Computational and Evolutionary Biology research group within the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Manchester. I obtained my Honours BSc in Zoology from the University of British Columbia in my hometown of Vancouver. I then moved to central Canada where I received my PhD from McMaster University. I subsequently moved to Australia where I held a series of Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Centre for Evolutionary Biology at the University of Western Australia. I have now moved to the Departmetn of Zoology at Stockholm University (see: A brief synopsis of my research career includes:
