Academic entry qualification overview

We require a degree in dentistry or a non-clinical science or social science subject (minimum Upper Second or equivalent GPA) from a recognised institution. You should preferably have two years of work experience and be currently working in an area with a link to oral health.

We will consider applicants with other qualifications, research or professional experience on an individual basis, although you may be required to register for the PGDip in the first instance.

English language

International students must demonstrate English proficiency through a secure and approved testing system.

We ask for English language proof if you are from non-majority English speaking countries (a list of majority English speaking countries, as defined by the UK Home Office, can be found here ).

Specifically, we require a minimum of:

  • IELTS : minimum 6.5 overall (6.0 in all components)
  • TOEFL: 90 (internet-based) (Minimum: Listening 20; Writing 20; Reading 20 and Speaking 20)

English language test validity

Some English Language test results are only valid for two years. Your English Language test report must be valid on the start date of the course.

Other entry requirements

As this is an online course, you will need access to a computer with internet connection, and there is a minimum level of computer skills required. Please contact us for more information.
