Academic entry qualification overview
We require one of the following:
- a recognised primary degree in a dental subject and a preferred minimum of two years' post-qualification experience;
- a degree (minimum Lower Second) in a non-clinical science or social science subject and preferably two years of work experience in an area with a link to oral health.
In all cases, the degree held must be from a recognised institution.
International students must demonstrate English proficiency through a secure and approved testing system.
We ask for English language proof if you are from non-majority English speaking countries (a list of majority English speaking countries, as defined by the UK Home Office, can be found here ).
Specifically, we require a minimum of:
- IELTS: 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in all components)
- TOEFL: 90 (internet-based) (Minimum: Listening 20; Writing 20; Reading 20 and Speaking 20)
