How to apply
Funding for this course has come to an end and the Advanced Clinical Skills module is not currently available to new students. However, pharmacists who have completed an Independent Prescribing course at another university and the Advanced Clinical Skills course at The University of Manchester may be eligible for the award of PGCert ASTEM on completion of one of the following 15-credit units:
This applies to pharmacists with both level 6 and level 7 independent prescribing qualifications.

Advice to applicants
This is an exciting opportunity for pharmacists in unscheduled care to extend their practice into either mental health or paediatrics, gain a postgraduate certificate and further develop their professional role. Study may also contribute towards Advanced Clinical Practice status.
How your application is considered
To be considered for the top-up route, you must meet the eligibility criteria detailed above and complete the accreditation of prior learning process.
Overseas (non-UK) applicants
Only students registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and practising in the UK are eligible for this course.
