Academic excellence over and above the criteria required for admission to the master's course selected.
Proficiency in English language.

The scholarship can only be awarded to offer holders who are passport holders of Ghana.
Can only be awarded to applicants who studied in Ghana at all levels (school/college/ university) with the exception of students who completed their bachelor¿s at The University of Manchester and previously studied in Ghana.
Offered at postgraduate taught level only.
The scholarship will only be awarded to applicants who are classified by the University as an international tuition fee payer.
Scholarships are only available for September 2021 entry (a scholarship award may not be deferred).
To apply, applicants must be offer holders on 30 April 2021.
You will be required to submit a completed application form by 30 April 2021. The application form will be sent to you if you are successful in receiving an offer.
Selected candidates will be required to firmly accept their offer of a place by 31 May 2021 in order to confirm their scholarship.
The University of Manchester GREAT scholarship will be awarded in the form of a partial fee waiver.
