Loan arrangements for students resident in the UK but outside England
Some type of postgraduate loan is usually available to UK students resident outside England, so those in Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the Channel Islands or Isle of Man. The specific arrangements are devolved to local governments.
For UK students resident in Wales wishing to study at Manchester, a separate PG finance scheme is available. It is means tested, and will be paid as a mixture of grants and loan, with amounts varying depending on your household income. Further information is available from Student Finance Wales.

For UK students resident in Scotland, a PG tuition fee loan is available, alongside a separate living cost loan.
