Book your sessions

Book onto sessions for our virtual open days.

How to use the booking system

Choosing your sessions

We’ve organised a host of online talks and Q&As to introduce you to master's options at Manchester.

Sessions will be hosted using Zoom and you'll be sent a link to join once your booking is confirmed.

Follow the steps below to choose your sessions and book onto as many as you like.

Step 1: Find the right Faculty

Each of our three Faculties (Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health and Faculty of Science and Engineering) will be running additional sessions that you may find useful. Before you register, use our Faculties and Schools overview to find out which Faculty your master's course belongs to and move on to the next step.

You can also use our course search to help with this as most course profiles have the Faculty or School they're part of at the bottom.

If you need any help, please email us.

Step 2: Choose subject sessions

Deciding on a programme is one of the biggest decisions facing prospective postgraduates.

There are a number of subject sessions you can book onto, and it's important to prioritise these as not all will be recorded or available at a later date. You can filter by the 'recorded' tag on the booking form to see which are being recorded.

Step 3: Choose general sessions

We have general information sessions running throughout covering:

  • Postgraduate employability
  • Teaching and learning
  • Accommodation
  • International master's funding

These sessions will be delivered by the staff responsible for your experience at Manchester and will cover the important things to consider when preparing for postgraduate study.

Student panels

We also have student panel sessions where you can ask your questions to students. These are the 'Meet students' talks on the booking form.

Step 4: Work out which sessions are being recorded

It's important to work out which sessions are being recorded so you can prioritise which you need to watch live. You can filter by the 'recorded' tag on the booking form to see which are being recorded.

Step 5: Submit your booking form

Fill in the form below and select your chosen sessions to complete your booking.

We'll send you a confirmation email upon booking with links to access the sessions. Check your junk email if you don't receive anything instantly.
