- Tuition fees up to Home rate. This is £4,407 in 2020/21 (exact rate for 2021/22 subject to confirmation from UKRI).
- A maintenance grant. The level of the grant for the academic year 2020-21 is £ 15, 283 (the level of the grant for 2021-22 and the following years is subject to confirmation from the AHRC).
Students opting to study part-time will receive a pro rata maintenance grant of the equivalent of a full time award.
Student will receive additional disability allowance where appropriate.

Please note that in order to be eligible for NWCDTP funding you MUST have applied for a place on a programme at the University of Manchester by 15th January 2021 at the latest. Please note that your application for admission onto your chosen programme must be complete (no missing documents) when submitted by this deadline.
You should complete the NWCDTP funding application form and send it to research.soss@manchester.ac.uk by 5.00pm on 5 th February 2021 ( please note that the NWCDTP application form CANNOT be changed after submission).
There is only one closing date for funding applications each year and there is no flexibility on this date .
