Students opting to study part-time will receive a pro rata maintenance grant of the equivalent of a full time award.

PhD Social Anthropology with Visual Media
In 2022, NWCDTP guarantees two studentships for candidates from BAME backgrounds*. Applicants from these groups will also be considered as part of the open competition.
* Applicants wishing to apply for one of the ring-fenced studentships will have the opportunity to identify themselves on the application form as wishing to be considered for these targeted studentships. Their applications will be considered as part of the standard award competition and will be subject to the same assessment criteria and schedule.

Please note that in order to be eligible for NWCDTP funding you MUST have applied for a place on a programme at the University of Manchester by 14th January 2022 at the latest. Please note that your application for admission onto your chosen programme must be complete (no missing documents) when submitted by this deadline.
You should complete the NWCDTP funding application form and send it to email@example.com by 5.00pm on 4 th February 2022 ( please note that the NWCDTP application form CANNOT be changed after submission).
There is only one closing date for funding applications each year and there is no flexibility on this date .
