Academic requirements
Applicants must hold, or expect to achieve, a Masters-level qualification, which we would expect to be at Distinction level, or equivalent, and have a First Class Bachelor's degree (or non-UK equivalent).

- MPhil students are not eligible to apply for this studentship.
- Current PhD students are not eligible to apply for this studentship.

- MA and BA Degree Certificates and Transcripts
- 2 academic references
- Evidence from your undergraduate institution that you were in receipt of a low income University bursary during the course of your undergraduate degree, and particularly in your final year.
- If you are living with a parter, a copy of their P60 or statement of benefits.
- Evidence of your current earnings or a statement of benefits.
Selection criteria
Applications will be ranked according to two key criteria; academic track-record, and the quality of the Research Proposal.
