We require applicants to hold, or be about to obtain, an Upper Second class Honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in a related subject area for entry to this funded PhD programme.  As competition is tough, many of our applicants also hold a Masters-level qualification.

Fees

For entry in the academic year beginning September 2019, the tuition fees are as follows:

  • PhD (full-time)
    UK/EU students (per annum): Standard £4,327, Low £8,750, Medium £15,500, High £20,500
    International students (per annum): Standard £23,000, Low £24,000, Medium £30,500, High £35,500

This is a fully-funded programme is open to eligible UK/EU candidates.
