BEng Aerospace Engineering / Entry requirements

Year of entry: 2019

A-level

We require three A levels with overall grades of AAB in any order, in Mathematics and Physics and one other subject.

We accept all subjects as the third A level.

Please note that if students are taking the newly reformed Physics A level, we will require them to pass the practical assessment included in the A level.

GCSE

Five A-C Grades, including English Language, Maths and Physics or Dual Science (We require Grade 4 or above for applicants holding newly reformed GCSEs in England)

International Baccalaureate

35 points including 665 at Higher Level to include Mathematics, Physics and one other subject and 5 in English Language at Standard Level

Alternative entry requirements

Alternative entry requirements exist for this course. You may view these by selecting from the list below.

English language

All applicants must provide an approved English language qualification to meet our English language requirements, such as:

  • GCSE English at grade C or above
  • IELTS with 6.0 overall and no sub-test below 5.5
  • Internet based TOEFL with 80 overall and no sub-test below 20
  • IB English language with a score of at least 5 at standard level

English language test validity

Please note that some English language qualifications are only valid for two years, such as IELTS and TOEFL. These qualifications must be valid (less than two years old) on the start date of the course.
