Year of entry: 2019

A-level

We require grades BCC, including at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Health and Social Care, Applied Science).

GCSE requirement must include English and Maths at a minimum of Grade C or above with the overall GCSE profile being at least 5 GCSEs Grade B or above. We no longer accept equivalents to GCSE for English and Maths.

Unit grade information

The University of Manchester welcomes the provision of unit grade information which, like all other available information, will inform the consideration of applications. Unit grades will not normally form part of offer conditions, except for Mathematics programmes.

GCSE

International Baccalaureate

We require 32 points overall including at least one science related subject (Biology, Chemistry or Psychology) and 3 subjects at higher level each with grade of 5.

English language test validity

Some English Language test results are only valid for two years. Your English Language test report must be valid on the start date of the course.

Relevant work experience

As nursing involves many skills, work experience from a range of areas is relevant - but not mandatory - for this course, including paid employment or voluntary work.

This may include direct experience in a healthcare setting and/or other settings that involve the use of communication skills.
