Aims

  • Provide an introduction to business and economic activity of the creative and cultural leisure sector as a harbinger of new forms of business activity
  • Explore how the creative and cultural industries are central to consumer experiential consumption and identity formation
  • Provide an understanding of how the creative and cultural industries have been central to urban regeneration in the UK and beyond

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the unit, students should be able to:
