The Manchester International Excellence scholarships

The Manchester International Excellence scholarships are open to fee paying undergraduate students from Africa, South Asia and South East Asia and will be considered based on their UCAS application.

There are 30 competitive awards available to the highest performing applicants, with £3,000 awarded for the first year of study and then £1,000 per year up to Year 4.

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • be an international fee paying, self-funded student from Africa, South Asia or South East Asia;
  • maintain a 60% average performance each year and engage with marketing activities to support future students who apply from these regions;
  • offer-holders must have accepted the University as their firm choice by the end of June;
  • ensure they are fully registered with their Department on an undergraduate degree course as a new student.

There will be no separate application form. All international students who are holding an offer of a place within the Faculty at The University of Manchester will be considered for a scholarship.
