It is 200 years since the birth of Charles Beyer, who donated the equivalent of almost
£10 million to our predecessor institutions.

This year's lecture, 'In Place of War' will be given by James Thompson, Professor of Applied and Social Theatre and Executive Director of the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute, on 11 June.
