Travel by bicycle

Cycling is a very popular, cheap and environmentally friendly way to travel to The University of Manchester.

You'll find parking for over 2,500 cycles across the campuses and halls of residence, with large numbers of Sheffield/hoop stands close to building entrances.

Maps and general advice

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) provide a vast amount of information on cycling which can be found on the TfGM cycling website.

They also provide free pdf maps for the city and an excellent online interactive map to help you plan your journey.
