This is a typical day in the life of Estelle, an Erasmus student from the Université de Rennes II in France. She is studying English. |

Estelle lives in Fallowfield, where there are numerous halls of residence for students. Finding accommodation was really easy – a couple days after speaking to the accommodation team she was moving into her new room. |

Like most students, Estelle starts her day by catching a bus to university. It only takes about ten minutes and there are lots if buses connecting the student living areas with the university campus – in fact, the main Oxford Road bus route is said to be the busiest in Europe, so there's no excuse for being late! |

Estelle stopped by at the library to pick up some books for her assignment. With over four million books and a wealth of electronic resources, the University Library is one of the largest and best-resourced in the UK. |

Estelle called in at the International Society, where she picked up a brochure on new events for international students, before heading for the Student Union bar to meet a friend for a drink. |

There are a range of food outlets across campus, catering for all diets and tastes. Estelle went to the food hall at University Place where she got some lunch in a cafe. |

At the end of her classes, Estelle caught the bus into the city centre where she did some shopping on Market Street and at the Arndale Shopping Centre. |
