If your application is successful, we will send a formal offer letter by post.
When you submit your application you will receive an automatic receipt. Your application will be automatically uploaded into our Student System and sent to the academic department running your course.
We will email you your unique University of Manchester user ID and Self Service password within three days of receiving your application. You can then log in to Self Service to track your application and to accept your offer if you are successful.
Keep a note of your User ID and password - you will need it to accept your offer.
We will email you the name and contact details of the Admissions Officer considering your application within three days of receiving your application. This is your main contact throughout the admissions process, until you register as a student with us. The Admissions Officer will contact you as soon as a decision is made.
Most communications from us will be by email. PLease check your emails regularly as we may ask you for further information or documents. To continue receiving information from us, please make sure we have your correct email address in the Self Service system.
Always quote your User ID when you contact us.

We cannot make you an offer if your application is incomplete. Use your user ID and password to log in to Self Service to check for any further documents we need.

Please send evidence of having met your conditions to your academic department as soon as you have it. You should accept your offer of a place even if you still have conditions to meet.
Log in to Self Service to accept your offer. You must bring originals of all documents with you when you register as a student.
