Chris took his first degree in chemistry at Oxford University, doing his Part 2 research project on corrosion science. He then worked in a variety of technical and commercial roles in the speciality chemicals sector before moving into environmental auditing in the mid 1990's. His subsequent research for a masters degree at Manchester Business School investigated the management techniques and tools used by firms to integrate environmental issues into R&D processes. A part-time researcher at MBS, Chris also continues to work as an environmental consultant for EuGeos Limited.
