Biography
Mark Crinson graduated from the University of Sussex (BA) and the Courtauld Institute (MA). He researched his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, completing in 1989. After teaching at the Open University and Loughborough College of Art, and holding a research post at the University of Essex, he was appointed lecturer at the University of Manchester in 1993. In 2007 he was promoted to Professor of Art History.
