I am a Senior Research Fellow in Tyndall Manchester and Manchester Business School; Visiting Professor in Governance of Energy Systems and Climate Change at the Finnish Environment Institute (2011-12) and Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Integrated Energy Research, University of Leeds, where I will be based from March 2012. I work on non-state actor perceptions of energy RD&D and related policy critique. Since 2000 I have published 35+ peer-reviewed papers in policy domains ranging across aviation, bioenergy, biofuels, hydrogen, CCS and carbon labeling; I am Co-I or PI on several RCUK and EC grants; and am a consultant and referee to a range of agencies and publications internationally.
