I am currently Director of the Centre for Democracy and Elections, a cross-school research group at Manchester.

I am happy to be consulted by the media on most aspects of British politics, the electoral process and campaigning and the politics of disengaged groups such as young people and minorities.

I was the psephologist for Radio5Live on the night of the 2005 General Election, and reported from Blackburn for Radio5Live, the BBC Asian Network and 1Xtra.
