Dr Chloé Yeung (BSc, MRes, PhD) - research

Research Details

I want to understand how extracellular matrix is established and maintained to support mechanically-loaded tissues, in particular, the relationship between tissues of the musculoskeletal system. I have continued to develop an understanding of tendon tissue formation and postnatal maintenance, and skin healing in complex wounds. My goal is to contribute knowledge towards new therapeutic strategies for treating age-related connective tissue diseases including osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, wound healing and cancer.
