Manchester: Integrating Medicine and Innovative Technology (MIMIT)
The University of Manchester and the major NHS Teaching and Primary Care Trusts have joined forces to create MIMIT - an exciting initiative in Manchester that aims to facilitate collaborations between scientists, clinicians and engineers to develop innovative technology for patient benefit.
Manchester Academic Health Science Centre (MAHSC)
A partnership between six NHS organisations in Greater Manchester and The University of Manchester. MAHSC is based on a federal model and is the first AHSC in the UK to cover the full spectrum of care: acute, specialist, mental health, primary care and commissioning.
Institute of Health Sciences
The Institute of Health Sciences (IHS) promotes health sciences research and postgraduate education in Greater Manchester. The institute is a networked organisation made up of research groups within The University of Manchester in partnership with local NHS Trusts.
