NHS collaboration

We work closely with NHS organisations, bringing the benefits of our research more quickly to patients.

Manchester: Integrating Medicine and Innovative Technology (MIMIT)

The University of Manchester and the major NHS Teaching and Primary Care Trusts have joined forces to create MIMIT.

It is an exciting initiative that aims to facilitate collaboration between scientists, clinicians and engineers to develop innovative technology for patient benefit in Manchester.

A partnership between six NHS organisations in Greater Manchester and The University of Manchester.

MAHSC is based on a federal model and is the first AHSC in the UK to cover the full spectrum of care: acute, specialist, mental health, primary care and commissioning.
