I am a food biochemist (doctor) trained in qualitative and quantitative biological methods. I have worked with various in vitro techniques (e.g. multi-enzyme hydrolysis, enzymatic biosynthesis, etc) and mass spectrometry methods. Currently, I am working on the acquisition of MS data from a variety of different starting material to seek out novel biomarkers of disease, response to therapy, toxicity and so on. My role employs a variety of analytical biochemistry techniques plus advanced mass spectrometry and bioinformatic approaches in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer research.
