Dr Vijaykumar Karuppiah (BEng, PhD) - personal details

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Prof Jeremy Derrick's group, who was also my PhD investigator. During my PhD, I developed interest in X-ray crystallography to determine the three-dimensional structure of proteins. I obtained Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Biotechnology from Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai, India. For undergraduate thesis, I worked on single channel recordings and force sensing using patch clamp/laser tweezer at Life Sciences division, AU-KBC research centre, Chennai, India.
