Biography

Yacine read Marine Engineering at the Unversity of Science and Technolgy in Oran, Algeria and obtained a government scholarship to study overseas. In 2000, he moved to the UK to do his MSc in Thermal Power and Fluids Engineering followed by a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dominique Laurence. In 2006, he was appointed as PDRA at the University of Manchester working on the EPSRC Keeping the Nuclear Options Open (KNOO) programme.
