The International Society is a busy centre for international students based in the Manchester area.
The University of Manchester has more than 7,000 international students based on campus, from over 180 countries worldwide. This makes for an exciting and multicultural atmosphere and there are many organisations dedicated to ensuring that you make the most of your time in the UK.
The International Society
The International Society is an independent, not-for-profit organisation unique to Manchester. Based on Oxford Road it provides a social and supportive environment for all international students.
UMSU International Societies
The University of Manchester Students' Union is home to many international societies which are run by students. They allow students of similar nationalities and/or faiths to meet informally. Most societies organise events (socials) and other activities.
