Entry requirements

General requirements for undergraduate courses

A-levels and International Baccalaureate

We welcome applications from students holding A-levels and International Baccalaureate qualifications. Please consult the standard offers listed against the course of your choice.

Secondary school graduation exam – Tot nghiep pho thong trung hoc

Students holding the Vietnamese secondary school graduation exam with at least 80% overall and a minimum of 90% in Mathematics and Physics may apply for a foundation programme.

General requirements for postgraduate/research courses

Students who have completed an undergraduate degree in Vietnam and have obtained a good result can be considered for entry onto postgraduate programmes.

English language requirements

English language requirements vary by course and department, but are usually the equivalent of IELTS 6.0–7.5.

Some departments ask that the requisite score is met before you apply for a course, while others give conditional offers subject to your achieving our general entry requirement level of English language proficiency before you start your course.

Other entry requirements

Please note that this is generic information only. Faculties and Schools have different entry requirements and some qualifications may not be acceptable for certain courses, so it is important to check with the School directly before you apply.

Some courses have additional entry requirements such as previous work experience, submission of written work with the application or previous study of a particular subject.
