The University of Manchester has a large number of overseas exchange partners both in and outside Europe.
Many Schools at Manchester have subject area to subject area exchanges with European universities (e.g. the School of Geography in Manchester has a link with the School of Geography in the Universidad de Granada in Spain).
These agreements are known as Erasmus exchanges. Programmes in Europe are supported by the Commission of the European Communities within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Erasmus Programme.
Where you can go will depend on the links established by your particular subject area.

The University has many Worldwide (outside of Europe) exchange partners.
The majority of these are not subject-specific and are open to students from most subject areas across the University.
