If you are unable to come to one of our University open days, you can join us for a guided visit of the campus on a Wednesday afternoon. Guided visits include a presentation on the University, a question-and-answer session with a panel of current students, and a tour of the campus.
Guided visits take place every Wednesday during our busy period (mid-October to March, excluding the Christmas period) and twice a month during our quieter period (April to mid-October). They start at 1.30pm at the Visitors Centre (building 37 on the campus map) and end at approximately 3.30pm. A full list of dates is available via the guided visit booking form.
Parents and carers may also find guided visits of interest while their son or daughter is attending post-application interviews or visit days – some may have already been invited to one by the academic School that their son or daughter has applied to. On these days parents and carers will be reunited with their son or daughter after the event at approximately 4pm.

We run accommodation tours of some of our halls of residence on the Fallowfield Campus every Wednesday morning between November and March. During the summer months we run one tour in May and one in August. Tours run from 10.30am until 12pm.
Visitors will be able to go on a walking tour of the Fallowfield Campus, the largest of our three accommodation sites, and see at least one student bedroom. (There may be some occasions when this is a room not currently occupied by a student).
If you would like to book onto one of these tours, please complete the guided visit booking form indicating that you would like to attend an accommodation tour. Please note that we have a cap on the number of visitors who can sign up, in order to keep tour groups to a manageable size. If you cannot see the date you require, this will be because it is fully booked.
Alternatively, the Accommodation Office holds an Open House Event every year to show visitors our halls of residence. In 2012 it will take place on Sunday 11 March, between 10am and 4pm.
