Travel and accommodation
We would like your journey to our campus to go as smoothly as possible. Follow the link below for directions to our campus by car or public transport:
Car parking
Due to the amount of visitors who attend the open days, we recommend using public transport to visit the University.
For visitors attending on Friday, 21 June, who drive to the open day, there is Car Parking available at a cost in the Aquatics NCP (Car Park B on the campus map) and the Booth Street West Multi-Storey Car Park (Car Park D).
For those visitors attending the open day on Saturday, 22 June, there is limited free parking available in Cecil Street Car Park (Car Park E), Dilworth Street (Car Park F) and Dover Street (Car Park G). In addition, the Booth Street West Multi-Storey Car Park is available at a charge of £2 for the day.
For satnav postcodes to each car park, please see below:

Large groups – coach drop-off and pick-up
Coaches can drop off and pick up groups on Dover Street. Unfortunately there are no facilities for coach parking on the University campus, but most coach companies will know of coach parks in the city. For the safety of our visitors, it is not possible for coaches to drop off or pick up on Brunswick Street.
Luggage
Large items of luggage can be stored securely within one of the committee rooms in the Whitworth Building. Further information on the location of the Left Luggage Room will be available in the Open Day Programme. Please note, luggage must be collected by 4pm and unfortunately cannot be stored overnight.
