Trailer for British Election Study film goes live

The trailer for a new film ‘The British Election Study: Understanding British Democracy’, is now available on YouTube ahead of its launch on December 9

Funded by the School of Social Sciences at The University of Manchester, some of Britain’s top academics and journalists in politics will appear in the film, which will look at how the British Election Study, one of the world’s oldest studies of electoral behaviour, can throw more light on some of the major issues facing British democracy today.

The British Election Study has made a major contribution to the understanding of political attitudes and behaviour since 1964, providing data to researchers who are interested in the changing patterns of party support and election outcomes.

It is managed by The University of Manchester, University of Oxford and The University of Nottingham.
