Accommodation options for students who wish to stay in our halls over the summer vacation.

If you're a student currently living in our halls, there are two types of summer vacation accommodation availabe to you:

  • extension in your existing hall for a maximum of four nights (eligible halls listed below);
  • accommodation over part or all the summer vacation at Richmond Park.

Four-night extension

If you live in the one of the halls listed below, you can extend your stay in your existing room for a maximum of four nights at the end of your tenancy period. 

Unfortunately, if your hall is not listed below, you won't be able to extend your stay.

  • Ashburne Hall
  • Dalton-Ellis Hall
  • Hulme Hall (excluding Burkardt, Houldsworth, Oaklands or Christie)
  • Oak House
  • Richmond Park (excluding Poplar Court and Willow Court, flats 1-12)
  • Sheavyn House
  • St Anselm Hall
  • Uttley House
  • Woolton Hall

Longer-term summer vacation accommodation

If you'd like to stay in halls over the summer vacation period, you'll need to relocate to Richmond Park at the end of your tenancy period.

Key things to know about summer vacation accomodation:

  • the period runs between 27 June until 5 September;
  • all students currently living in our halls can apply for summer accommodation, but priority will be given to those who are care experienced, fall under Article 26, or are studying nursing;
  • there is no guarantee of being granted a room;
  • all rooms in Richmond Park are en-suite.

Private halls

If you live in a private hall and wish to extend your stay over the summer, please email your hall directly.
