The University of Manchester appoints Carol Prokopyszyn as Chief Financial Officer
The University of Manchester has announced the appointment of Carol Prokopyszyn as its new Chief Financial Officer, following a global search.
Carol will be starting at the University on 6 June 2022 and joins from the University of Dundee.
She has made a significant impact within Higher Education at Dundee and previously at Loughborough University and University of Leicester, navigating the financial complexities of the sector, ensuring financial sustainability, and most recently, leading a significant financial turn-around programme. This has included completing the £300m Tay Cities Deal in partnership with local councils and focusing on sustainable financial investments.
In her new role, Carol will report to Patrick Hackett, Registrar, Secretary and Chief Operating Officer (RSCOO) and will be a member of both the Senior Leadership Team and the Professional Services Leadership Team.
