Postgraduate certificates and diplomas
A postgraduate certificate (PGCert) or diploma (PGDip) from The University of Manchester can help you expand on your bachelor’s degree and gain new insights to complement your professional experience.
Studying for a PGCert or PGDip will equip you with master’s level knowledge without requiring you to submit a dissertation. A PGCert typically lasts six months while a PGDip lasts nine, and many courses can be studied part-time – making them easier to fit in alongside your career.
As well as specialised courses such as the Postgraduate Certificate in Education, we offer a PGCert and PGDip option for many of our postgraduate courses.
Some PGCerts and PGDips are stand-alone courses, but many are options as part of our master's courses. Take a look and plan the next step in your career development.
