I graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2010 and stayed in Manchester to complete my Dental Foundation Year 1 (DF1). I continued at the same practice for six months as an associate dentist and then completed the Dental Core Trainee Year 1 (DCT1) in Orthodontics and Oral surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn in 2012. Following this I completed the Year 2 (DCT2) in Oral and maxillofacial surgery at Rotherham Hospital and also in Paediatric dentistry and Oral and maxillofacial surgery at Birmingham Children's Hospital in 2013. In 2014 I completed Year 3 (DCT3) in Restorative dentistry at Newcastle Dental Hospital.
I was appointed to my current position at Manchester Dental School in 2015 as the first Academic Clinical Fellow in Dental Education.

My teaching responsibilities include: -
- Supervising undergraduate dental students providing restorative dental care to patients.
- EBL facilitator for 3rd year dental students
- Developing EBL cases
- Delivering symposia on Orthodontic and Paediatric Dentistry
- Member of the student support team
