Role: Lecturer in Linguistics

I completed my PhD in 2011 at UMass Amherst, where I was frequently involved in John McCarthy and Joe Pater's NSF grant investigating Harmonic Serialism and Harmonic Grammar. My dissertation research focused on the issue of transparency and opacity in vowel harmony.  I spent a year as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Linguistics department at UC Santa Cruz before coming to Manchester in 2012.
