What our students say

Completing the Advanced Rehabilitation in Audiology CPD unit has dug deep into my rehabilitative skills and has opened my eyes to the bigger picture. I am so pleased with the skills I have gained and refined over the five days, and I look forward to applying them in practice and in my life. (Mash'aal Choudhary, Audiologist)

The Advanced Rehabilitation in Audiology unit was surprisingly self-revealing. I learnt a lot about myself that I can apply to both my personal and professional life. (Gladys Akinseye, MSc Advanced Audiology student)

I started the Advanced Rehabilitation in Audiology CPD course to improve my rehabilitative skills. I have learnt so much - not just on a professional level, but also on a personal level. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to develop their rehab skills. (Saima Latif, Audiologist)

Taking part in the Adult Aural Rehabilitation course has given me a real sense of self-awareness. It has emphasised the importance of counselling skills and how they can be applied and adapted in practice. I would highly recommend this thoroughly enjoyable course to anyone wishing to improve and aid their rehabilitation techniques. (Linda Piatkiewicz, Audiologist)

After a significant time since undertaking any formalised education, I decided to enrol on the Effective Amplification course to update my knowledge in this area. I have found it to be an excellent course that is well-presented using varied formats, and is highly relevant to my work as a paediatric audiologist. I believe my clinical practice is more considered as a result of attending this first rate course. (Cath Felthouse, Audiologist)

Effective Amplification for Infants and Children is a brilliant and challenging course to undertake. (Nasima Khatun, student, 2015/16)

You will have access to these facilities outside of timetabled sessions to facilitate individual practice (with some limitation on procedures that carry certain risks - eg aural impression taking).

You will also able to access a range of library and IT facilities throughout the University.
