Overview

This will include all aspects of endodontic treatment both surgical and non surgical treatment. The students will also be expected to go into detail of diagnosis and treatment planning. Also some aspects of general restorative care and treatment planning will be assessed.

Aims

The unit aims to: 
 
Provide each participant with a comprehensive experience and training in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning of endodontic disease. Furthermore, the assessment and treatment planning elements will incorporate aspects of other relevant dental disciplines. 


It will also aim to not only develop clinical abilities but also to stimulate critical and analytical 
thinking in both the clinical and research environment.
