Event description
Access and success: 200 years of education without barriers at The University of Manchester.
Join us for our fourth and final event of the Talk 200 bicentenary lecture and podcast series to discuss The University of Manchester’s legacy of education without barriers. The event will be held in the very centre of our great institution – the stunning Whitworth Hall.
President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Duncan Ivison will lead a panel of alumni and student speakers in discussion of how the University’s commitment to supporting students from all backgrounds has not changed since it began in 1824. The event will be hosted by Professor Colette Fagan, Vice-President for Research.
How to join
Join us in person at the University's Whitworth Hall by booking your ticket or watch the talk via a live stream on the University’s bicentenary website, starting at 5.30pm and running until approximately 7pm (UK/GMT) on Tuesday, 19 November 2024.
